    Posted: 21 Apr 2012 07:11 AM PDT

Many people complain that their mobile phone battery lasts only just five or six hours. Some even

lasts only a coupe of hours and go empty. It's a problem most of

us face and I was in that category till i learned some of
tips that makes my battery life a lot longer than what it used to be.

    * Do not use any java or Symbian mobile applications when

    battery is too low.

    * Always try to use low brightness for your mobile display

    * Always properly switch-off your mobile (never directly

    remove battery)

    * Use automatic network selection option instead of

    manual selection

    * Always keep your Bluetooth off when its not in use

    * Use handsfree instead of the

    speakers/ringer to listen to music

    * Reduce the back light/Keypad

    light time

    * Do not use any flash or animation as a wallpaper

    * Always keep off screen saver

    * It's also not advisable to use

You don't necessarily have to wait till your android operating system crashes before learning the basic tips needed to keep it in good condition and there are certain features in your Android phone you might not be aware

of. Maybe you've been using a different phone and just bought a new Android device but still trying to figure out how to make certain things work, this post explains how to make the most your Android smartphone.

    1. Never let your battery drain out completely This is probably the most important because a

smartphone with a battery that lasts only a few hours is as good as useless. Allowing your battery to drain out fully before recharging shortens your battery life.

    2. Turn off what you don't need There's no need to leave your wi-fi, bluetooth, sound and even 3G on all the time. All these things use CPU and might cripple some functions or slow your phone down.task

    3. Reduce the screen brightness I don't think it necessary to have your phone at full brightness at night. It does saves you lots of battery power if you can reduce the brightness when you don't really need to strain your eyes

    before you see the display.

    4. You need a task killer There are certain tasks running in the background you might not really need. The more

applications you have running, the more RAM is used and this slows down your phone.

    5. Calibrate with a stylus Touch sensitivity and precision can be achieved by calibrating

the screen with a sytlus instead of your finger.

    6. Hibernate instead of shutting down It takes a some time and battery power to power on and fully

boot your device. It's advisable to hibernate instead of shutting down

    7. Do not leave your phone in the car Lithium batteries are affected by heat. Leaving your phone in your

car on a hot afternoon isn't such a good idea.

    8. Install your most used apps on phone memory instead of SD card

    9. Save your battery when your phone is sleeping Go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wireless Settings >

WiFi Sleep Policy. Change it to 'When screen turns off'.

    10. Root your Android! To get the most out of your device, you need to root it. This means getting access to all files and directories and customizing it the way you want. It's similar to hacking symbian phones and

I plan to write a post on Android rooting one of these days.

Here is a quick new hack on how to intrude in the PC which is shut downed at Cyber cafe. (Don't Forget to read our disclaimer at the bottom of the post.)
    1. As you all must have know these days all Cyber cafe owners have a program for administration to control all PC's in local area network. So all files can be inter transmitted.

    2. First of all press Ctrl+Alt+Del the task manager or any controlling application, will open. Then from APPLICATIONS select the program that is controlling all PC's  & terminate it, This is for security reason. Now log of PC, & you ll get user names of the PC.

    3. But some times, cyber cafes have security clients installed that have restricted access to Task Manager
, restart the computer & press F8 continuously before windows boots.

The Menu will open, select Safe Mode from it. And now you can copy files from networked PC's without any  security layer.
Next step is where you'll need to crack the hashes.  SO go to your home PC , Download & install Saminside cracking tool. And from some another Cyber cafe try to crack the hashes of that PC. By same log off method explained below.
This where you actually perform hacking. Have a gret time & tell us weather it worked for you.
Meanwhile if you can get IP address,  of the PC you wish to hack try to get it from ip-explorer.com, but this is not the part of this hack its sort of next step of hacking from outside the network.
Disclaimer : The trick here explained it for educational purpose only & not to  perform illegal or criminal activities. Don't forget hacking into some one's privacy is considered as crime. SO do it on your home network that you own or something.  We are not responsible for anything you do & consequences of it by using our articles.
